"Hi there! My Name is Courtney, and I am a California Credentialed English Teacher!

I have been teaching high school English for the last 11 years, and I am passionate about helping my students succeed. Throughout my educational career I have taught the following coursework: English 10, 11, and 12, Honors English 10, English Language Development 1-4 (ELD), and Psychology 1-2.

I graduated with my Bachelor´s degree in English Education from California State University, Chico, in 2013, and continued to get my Single-Subject Teaching Credential from San Diego State University in 2014.

I am an expert in helping students understand the basics of English Language Arts including: reading, writing, public speaking, rhetorical analysis, and so much more!

Although I have taught high-school for the majority of my career, I have also tutored students in 6th-8th grade, and college freshmen.
