"Hi, I'm Kevin. I graduated from Michigan State University (MSU) with a degree in Accounting. I also received my Masters from MSU with specializations in tax and information systems. I currently work full time as a CPA specializing in tax at a prominent public accounting firm.

My teaching style focuses on conveying lasting skills that will make school or professional work a little bit easier. My motto always has been "work smarter not harder". I am inquisitive by nature and love the journey of learning. Additionally, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and watching others grow as they learn new concepts and skills. My favorite type of students are those who ask questions and are open about their understanding of the material. The saying "there's no such thing as a bad question" is something that I truly embrace in my teaching. I have nearly 4 years' worth of teaching college-level courses around Microsoft Excel and Microsfot Access. Additionally, I have tutored a number of friends and colleagues in tax accounting concepts.

During my time at MSU, I taught an MS Excel and MS Access class for 7 semesters. During these semesters I also ran multiple help rooms and tutoring sessions. Additionally, I frequently use excel and access skills on my full-time job and am often utilized to assist in solving more complex issues with these tools.

I have a Masters of Science in Taxation and have my Certified Public Accountants (CPA) License. Additionally, I work full-time as a tax accountant at a large accounting firm.
