"Hello!

My name is Renée (or Ms. B for short!). I earned my bachelor’s degree in education from the University of St. Thomas, where I was also part of the advanced Honors English program. I am grateful to say that I have classroom experience teaching a wide variety of subjects, including English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, Art, and social-emotional skills. Additionally, I have both online and in-person tutoring experience, working with young elementary students to strengthen their reading, writing, and math skills, as well as high school students preparing for the SAT and ACT exams.

As an educator, I am deeply committed to helping students achieve their fullest potential. I specialize in assessing students’ skill sets, identifying gaps in understanding, and creating personalized lessons, activities, and a comprehensive “master plan” to help them achieve content mastery. I believe every student deserves access to the highest-quality education, whether in a classroom or through tutoring.
