"I have been tutoring since I entered college. I have taught middle school art, math and English, gifted learners, ESL students. General study skills, Adhd, editing papers, test prep are my specialties. I am a fierce editor, and know how to write and edit. I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2009. I now live in Colorado with my husband and three children, two girls and a boy who is on the spectrum. I have been tutoring for 10 plus years now in many different fields and am especially excited about online students as well. I have studied and taught English and Art in England, Costa Rica and Thailand where I worked with ESL/ESOL students and language acquisition. I've tutored at various locations, working with kids from all backgrounds, from 1st grade to graduate students. I nannied for 2 different families with autistic children, and various learning disabilities. I know how to design lessons and units, differentiate and also helped implement my schools IB world program. I am very familiar with common core and standards K-12.

I believe that to really learn and experience new material, you must have an engaging teacher that you can relate to. One of my biggest strengths is my ability to relate to kids, and connecting learning to the outside world.
