"I graduated from Illinois State University in May of 2011 with a degree in Elementary Education. I am endorsed in Language Arts and Spanish, and I earned a certificate to teach Bilingual classes. I enjoy working with students of all ages. I have been a first grade teacher since August of 2011 and I am still going strong!

I have tutored students in 1st and 2nd grades in reading and writing, worked with 1st and 4th graders in all subjects, and have tutored adults in Spanish within the past four years.

I have an intense passion for tutoring. I love creating ways for students to understand material and feel successful and intelligent. I once had a tutor and I loved the experience. She was very patient and kind and made Calculus something that I could begin to wrap my brain

around. I know the importance of being a positive, creative, and patient tutor. I am all of these things and more.
