"I love tutoring students of all ages, if for no other reason than to see that light bulb go on when a student finally "gets" it. If I am excited about a topic, then chances are far more likely that a student will be more excited about working on homework for that topic. While managing my own writing/editing company, I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing students, child and adult alike, and I always look forward to working with new people, to help them master whatever it is they need help with.

I am grateful for having been an editor for the Spring 2012 edition of the Rio Review at Austin Community College (ACC) and a Marketing and Communications intern through Saint Edward's University (SEU). Those experiences, combined with multiple writing and editing classes, at both ACC and SEU, have given me the opportunity to expand my skill set through peer editing, constructive criticism and the willingness to help others become even better than they already are.

I have been spelling at a college level and have been seriously writing since age twelve. I hold an associate's degree in Creative Writing from Austin Community College (ACC) and a bachelor's degree in English Writing and Rhetoric from Saint Edward's University. I have an article published in the Austin-American Statesman and while at ACC I was an editor for the Spring 2012 edition of the Rio Review. I own and manage a small writing/editing start-up company and have been able to help several clients/students with various projects.
