"I am a well-rounded tutor with diverse experiences and a competitive streak. I own a piano studio, have a bachelor's in Psychology, and am applying for Law School. I have taken 13 AP and IB exams and am an IB Diploma recipient. I specialize in teaching piano, but I have received training in tutoring students in academic subjects, including for students who are Neurodivergent. I have also come to love tutoring adult students. In addition to my bread and butter (Piano/Music Theory/Music History/AP and IB Music), I tutor in Spanish, Psychology, Algebra, Writing, English Language/Literature (AP/IB), and LSAT topics: Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and Argumentative Writing.

I utilize what I have learned from my Bachelor's in Psychology and my Piano Pedagogy classes to work with students no matter what challenges they face. After doing an interview (and if receiving tutoring from me for Piano), I draft lesson plans based on learning styles and teach by moving from the known to unknown (whether they learn aurally, visually, kinesthetically, etc.). In college, in addition to Psychology, I completed a Minor in Music. I completed 7 semesters piano juries, playing pieces including: Chopin's Ballade No. 2 in F Minor, Debussy's La Cathédrale Engloutie, Brahms' Op. 79 Rhapsodies, and Schumann's A Minor Piano Concerto. I also did 4 semesters of Music Theory, Music History, and Collaborative Piano. For my piano studio, I have students compete in the Salt Lake Piano Competitions and do examinations with the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) where they have received First Class Honors.
