"I have had a vast amount of experience in teaching English both abroad and here in the U.S. over the last four years. I have also had the wonderful opportunity to tutor college athletes as well as working for the Purdue Writing Lab as an editor. I have also gotten 5's on all of my AP English and literature examinations.

From the age of 5 all the way through high school I was immersed in Spanish and subsequently picked up French as a second language. This means that all of my education was taught completely in Spanish until I was in high school where I then had some classes in English and in Spanish. I have lived and worked abroad in Spain, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica and have had a lot of experience in tutoring elementary through high school kids in Spanish. As far as French is concerned, while I was not immersed in it the way I was with Spanish, I have studied it over the last eight years and have also gotten a French minor in addition to my Spanish one. I love new opportunities to teach students how to have real conversations in their language of choice.
