"I have a clear California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. My specialties are reading, phonics and grammar with a love for drama! In teaching reading, you just might hear your student and I voicing the different characters in a story! In addition, I have taught elementary history, speech, and drama classes, as well as speech to high school. I also worked with bilingual students in the California public schools. It gives me great joy to see them succeed in the English language as they are learning to read. I taught various classes to homeschoolers as well.

I enjoy working alongside your student as he or she achieves success in reading and comprehension. I will assign review sheets for your student to have completed before the next weekly lesson. This might be reading comprehension worksheets, spelling lists, phonics review lessons, language review lessons, oral dictation review or the like.

I have a passion for teaching elementary age children as I love the excitement they have when they are learning new things! I love to incorporate the love of learning into each lesson.

I am flexible regarding location and am willing to travel to your home for lessons.

I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy, but I will offer makeup lessons when needed.
