"I am a teacher with two special education credentials and a master's degree, and has worked as a full-time teacher for twelve years. I am currently working as a resource specialist in a middle school setting. This means that I work on learning goals with students who have been identified as having special needs, but are in the general education setting for the majority of their school day.

I also tutor students after school and on weekends. Some of these students have been identified as having special needs, and need some extra help keeping pace with their school expectations. Some of these students have not be identified as special needs, but need some extra help with understanding concepts taught in school. Other students are below grade level, and require intervention to close achievement gaps.

I am able to teach and administer interventions in the following academic areas:

*Phonics

*Reading Accuracy

*Reading Comprehension

*Reading Fluency

*Math Concepts and Operations

*Math Applications and Problem Solving

*Writing Conventions

*Beginning Spanish

I am able to travel to Danville, San Ramon, Dublin, or Pleasanton to meet at your home or a local library. I am also able to tutor students online. I usually tutor after school and on weekends, and have expanded availability during school breaks.
