"I have a Masters degree Computer Applications.

I have 9 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer working on developing software for printers and networking devices. I have been a mentor for robotics teams (of middle and high school teams) for over 4 years. I am currently a teacher at a public high school teaching introductory Computer Programming classes in Python, as well as AP Computer Science Principles(Javascript), AP Computer Science A (Java), and Robotics Programming. I have also been a teaching fellow, working in collaboration with Stanford University to teach introductory computer science classes to high school students, and professional adults wishing to learn about CS.

I enjoy teaching computer science and computer programming and seeing the students eyes sparkle when they learn how coding works! I have worked with students from all grade levels in middle and high school. I have worked with students in special needs plans as well, like IEPs and 504s.

My area of expertise would be Computer programming various languages - Java, C, C++, Python, Javascript, HTML, SQL. I hold a CTE Teaching License in the state of Oregon.
