"I am a 25 year old graduate student working towards my M.S. in Human Development and Leadership at Murray State University. I double-majored in Philosophy/History as an undergraduate and have traveled to several countries throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia. As a result I have a sensitivity to different religions, languages and cultures that I feel serves me in working especially well with international students. My goals are to complete my education while working part-time as a tutor and substitute teacher. I intend to become certified in both emergency substitute school teaching and TESOL.

My experiences overseas include trips as a volunteer working in Bangladesh nonprofit organizations testing drinking water for arsenic and distributing home water filters. I have also traveled to several Middle Eastern countries such as Turkey, Kuwait, Qatar, and UAE, as well as Morocco and the U.K. Through my experiences traveling I have become well accustomed to various beliefs and customs which makes me an excellent candidate for a tutor for any student or family.
