"Hello! I am Janice and currently a medical student at UMass Chan Medical School. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University as a biochemistry major with departmental, research, and university honors.
Throughout college, I tutored high school students in Biology and Chemistry, where my students consistently succeeded in receiving the highest grades. Also, I spent two years of my undergrad as a teaching assistant for a Physiology course. Besides course material, I also assist in how to write lab reports and other types of scientific writing. Since graduating, I have tutored high school and college students to achieve their goals in various science subjects.
I have worked with a variety of students who have different levels of understanding. As I value everyone's time, I strive for efficient and effective learning! I have successfully worked with those students to create lesson plans that fit unique individuals and for them to reach their goals in the end.
As an application and interview coach for premedical students, I believe my application was successful as I had a strong and coherent theme throughout. Whether you are just beginning your premed journey or preparing for an application, I will share all the tips and experiences I had while making sure that you have your own unique strengths that could stand out.
