"Hey, my name is Harsh! I have tutored in the PAT section of the DAT for quite some time now and helped mentor students through the Dental Application. Regarding my students' success, here are a few of my recent students' results on the PAT (from last exam or first practice test to the actual DAT): 18 to 22, 19 to 22, 18 to 20, 22 to 25, 16 to 23, and 17 to 20.
I am currently a second year dental student at Columbia University and I was accepted to 16 different dental schools. I have taken the DAT and received a score in the 99th percentile (25AA, 24TS, 27PAT). As I was accepted to many different dental schools, I would love to provide my insight on the application process. Some of the programs I was accepted to include Columbia, UPenn, UCSF, UNC, and UMichigan. In this past cycle, my students were accepted to programs such as Harvard University, UCSF, UMichigian, UF, and Nova Southeastern University.
Throughout my college courses, I was given the chance to be helped by a student "SI Leader" who would provide worksheets and answer difficult questions. I have experience with 1 on 1 tutoring as well as tutoring in large classes. I really love being able to help students achieve their goals and obtain the grade they desire in the courses. I have tutored in Algebra 1 and 2 for over 2 years and tutored in Biology for 6 months. I also have experience tutoring in both General Chemistry 1 and 2 for over 1.5 years. I also promote students in asking questions and questioning my teaching style as well as I am always looking to learn and find the best teaching method for each student.
I would love to work with as many students as possible and am always looking for suggestions or improvements. I am available most mornings as well as most weekends! I prefer tutoring via Zoom as I really believe being able to integrate technology into tutoring is an integral aspect of my teaching style. I am available to contact throughout the day via Text or Email. I look forward to working with you!" less...
