"As a Deaf individual and native ASL user, I bring a wealth of personal experience and passion to my teaching. I’ve been using ASL all my life, and for the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching American Sign Language in a community setting, helping both adults and children develop their communication skills through ASL. My experience ranges from teaching one-on-one tutoring sessions to group classes in a church setting, allowing me to connect with a wide range of students and learning styles.

While I may not hold formal certifications or degrees, my unique position as a Deaf individual allows me to offer real-world expertise in ASL that goes beyond textbooks. I focus on helping students not only master the language but also gain a deeper understanding of Deaf culture and the value of communication. My teaching approach is tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether they are just beginning their ASL journey or looking to improve conversational skills.
