"My name is Chidinma, but you can call me “Chidi”! I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. I graduated at the top of my class and won the undergraduate nursing award. I was also voted as the “Most Professional” nursing student in my cohort. Because of my academic achievements in school, I was inducted into one of the largest nursing honor societies in the world (Sigma Theta Tau).

As a nursing student, I tutored six nursing classes. Due to student’s demand for more tutoring time with me, the Director of tutoring deemed it fit to make me a Supplemental Instruction Leader to help reach more students. In nursing school, I served on various nursing committees and was elected the senior class President.

During my tenure, I initiated a much needed mentoring program where junior nursing students form connections with senior nursing students to provide them with resources and facilitate a more seamless transition. I believe that some of the professors in nursing school found ways to make their lectures more relatable which made a lot of difference. One fun fact about me is that I took my NCLEX after studying for only 2 weeks and passed in 75 questions.

I am currently a Cardiac Nurse and I am certified through the National Tutoring Association (NTA). I can tutor all nursing classes whether you’re getting your LPN/LVN or RN. Throughout my tutoring sessions, I was known to introduce concepts in a fun and relatable manner. I incorporate Kahoot! and Jeopardy to help with practice questions. I believe practice questions are key in nursing school. I tailor my lesson plans to meet individual learning needs and styles. Tutoring is a passion and I am always delighted to see my students gain confidence in themselves when the concepts become more clear to them.
