"My name is Tiara and I am currently an Elementary Teacher. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of North Florida in Elementary Education, K-6 and I have experience teaching Kindergarten through 4th grade. I have always had a passion for children as well as teaching as far back as I can remember. I like to think of teaching and tutoring as a win-win situation because not only am I teaching the student, but they are teaching me as well. I have had the advantage of becoming very familiar with Common Core teaching for Math, Science, Reading, and Writing. I appreciated the challenge of taking on all subjects and it proved to make my students stronger as well. I genuinely love what I do, and I am lucky enough to have a career that I enjoy! I have experience with Florida Center for Reading Research activities in order to help students succeed in various skill set that they would need to improve their reading and reading comprehension. I have Elementary Education qualifications based on my current Florida Teaching certification and my experience in the Florida public school system.
