"I have extensive experience in mathematics instruction, beginning in August 2017 when I joined Lake Sumter State College as a full-time Math Instructor. In this role, I have taught a variety of courses including Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Liberal Art Math, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus 1, and Calculus 2. I employ creative teaching methods tailored to accommodate students' diverse academic strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles, while also providing the necessary encouragement and support to help students succeed. Prior to this, I served as an Adjunct Math Instructor at Lake Sumter State College from 2015 to 2017, where I taught Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra.

In addition to my college teaching roles, I have been a private tutor since September 2001, specializing in mathematics for middle and high school students. This role has involved helping students strengthen their mathematical skills. I also gained valuable classroom experience as a Substitute Teacher for the Lake County School System from September 2007 to June 2012, where I followed lesson plans, maintained an orderly classroom, and provided feedback to teachers. Furthermore, I taught at the American Heritage School in Plantation, FL, from August 1997 to February 2001, where I taught a range of courses including Basic Math, Algebra I and II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Physics. I implemented motivational strategies to engage students and regularly provided feedback on their progress.

Earlier in my career, from September 1996 to May 1997, I tutored students in mathematics at Sylvan Learning Center, focusing on improving their algebra and general mathematics skills.

I hold a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership with a focus on Higher Education and Community College Education from the University of Central Florida, earned in 2015.
