"I have a Masters in Microbiology and a PhD in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology. I have held post-doctoral research positions at The Ohio State University, working on plant development and different aspects of cancers of the urinary bladder and head & neck.

I have enjoyed tutoring several high school, undergraduate and graduate students in biochemistry (4511, 1113), microbiology, genetics and general biology. Working with high school students on biology and especially AP Biology, has been a rewarding experience. Several students I mentored in lab standard practices, are now successful research scientists.
