I hold a B.S. in Biochemistry, a B.S. in Chemistry, and a B.A. in Biology, as well as an M.S. in Science Education and Curriculum Development. This extensive academic foundation equips me with a comprehensive understanding of both the sciences and mathematics.

I have over [number] years of teaching experience, having taught Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra II, Precalculus, and Calculus at the Monteverde Friends School in Costa Rica for five years. I then moved to Jackson, Wyoming, where I taught ecology, geology, and biology in Teton National Park, leading backcountry excursions while earning my master's degree. My experience also includes teaching gifted students in Silicon Valley at Helios School, where I led them through the Art of Problem Solving curriculum for Algebra. Additionally, I cofounded a school for the gifted with an outdoor adventure campus in the Redwood Mountains near the coast.

Currently, I am living near my family in North Carolina, teaching high school math at a school and tutoring in the afternoons. My teaching approach is tailored to each student's unique learning style, focusing on making math accessible and enjoyable.
