My favorite subject is Math. I played baseball growing up, and I learned fractions and decimals by figuring out my batting average after each game during the season. But it was my 10th grade Geometry teacher who made math really fun. I've enjoyed it ever since.
My main focus is junior high math, Algebra, and Geometry. I’m happy to work with the student’s lesson plan or create one on my own. It doesn’t matter.
I am also certified to in ACT Prep for high school students. My preference is one on one in person tutoring and I can work in small groups up to five as well.
My life experiences enable me to share real world examples to help students understand why the material is important. I've found out that once they open their minds to that, they are more willing to learn.
Nothing is more satisfying to me than to see the light bulb come on in a student’s head once they understand a concept. I want to be the best resource to them as possible. Please reach out to me if you have any questions and would like to schedule a lesson." less...
