About me:

I have been teaching and tutoring for over a decade and currently hold a teaching certification in science. I attended both Spelman College and the University of Michigan, then completed the Atlanta University Center Dual Degree Engineering Program with degrees in chemistry and engineering. After graduation, I joined the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was responsible for environmental restoration and construction projects. To help me pursue my passion for STEM education, I was awarded a three-year teaching fellowship and a Master's degree in education from the University of Michigan.
