"As a dental student who was accepted to five dental schools with a 4.0 GPA and a 23 on the DAT, I bring both academic excellence and a passion for teaching to help students achieve their own success. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where I also completed a minor in global health. For the last two years, I have been working as a university athletics tutor, helping student-athletes excel in their courses while balancing demanding training schedules. Additionally, I mentored peers through my university’s pre-dental society and tutored high school AP science students both in group and one-on-one settings.
In addition to my strong foundation in the sciences, I’m fluent in Spanish and enjoy helping students improve their grammar and conversational skills. My tutoring experience spans a variety of subjects, including biology, chemistry, and test preparation for the ACT and DAT. I specialize in helping high school students succeed in challenging courses like AP Biology and guiding college students through rigorous academic material. My background working with diverse learners has taught me to tailor my teaching methods to fit individual needs, making learning both effective and rewarding.
What sets me apart is my ability to combine subject matter expertise with a supportive and approachable teaching style. I believe learning should not only build knowledge but also boost confidence and foster a sense of accomplishment. Whether you’re tackling a challenging science course, striving for fluency in Spanish, or preparing for a major exam, I’m here to guide and motivate you every step of the way. Let’s work together to reach your goals!" less...
