"I have a PhD in developmental psychology and am currently working in Santa Ana Unified School District full time. I've been a college professor and individual tutor for years and immensely enjoy working one-on-one with students. I'm looking to help students--particularly in statistics, psychology, and scientific writing--to excel in high school, college, or grad school.
I have completed graduate-level coursework in ANOVA, regression, categorical/non-parametric data, multilevel and structural equation modeling, and Bayesian estimation. My dissertation involved using a Bayesian multilevel structural equation modeling design, and I have guest lectured in college statistics courses.
I love psychology, and my developmental focus was on adolescence and young adulthood. I have also taught lifespan development and child and adolescent psychology courses, as well as worked as graduate level teaching assistant in multiple classes. I take a holistic approach to student learning--taking cognitive, socioemotional, and school context factors into consideration--because of my research background.
I am happy and eager to help students learn and excel, particularly in areas of scientific writing and statistics. Feel free to reach out if you want a highly qualified tutor to help!" less...
