"As an educator in science for over 23 years, my certification in Biology and General Science will allow me to tutor students 6-12 grades, as well as prepare students on an Elementary level. I engage all learners through valuable experiences to connect stages of cognitive learning, such as providing essential examples as concepts, allowing students to ask questions, practice meaningful comprehension skills, connect laboratory or interactive academic games, including the scientific method, which is critical in responding to questions on local and state assessments.

My instructional and ability to tutor reflects five major attributes. These attributes include 1) Knowledge of the content area, 2) Wisdom to apply facts, 3) Empathy to engage and inspire students, 4) Interpersonal skills to relate profoundly to the needs, ability, and interests of students, and 5) Courage to use diverse academic activities to increase the ability for students to become independent and responsible thinkers in real life.

Throughout my professional and personal development in the educational field, I've prepared students to compete academically and socially through the 5000 Role Model School of Excellence Program, Track&Field, Football, Cross Country, talent shows, and community organizational support in sports.
