"Hi I'm Tucker. I graduated High Honors and am currently a Senior studying Microbiology at Brigham Young University, with a minor in chemistry and business. I plan to take the MCAT in June 2023. I’ve taken many classes in Microbiology and Chemistry and love learning and helping others. I have come to understand what it feels like to be overwhelmed and frustrated in difficult STEM classes and I have found that having a teacher or tutor invested in your success can be one of the most valuable tools in finding joy and satisfaction in learning. I have gained much expertise in Organic chemistry and Biology principles and love teaching others difficult concepts.

I have over two years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have come to love Microbiology and Organic Chemistry principles and want to bring my passion for these subjects into my tutoring sessions. My teaching philosophy is that I can help any student succeed through applying the following principles. Adjusting my teaching to meet students needs, using simple and valuable teaching resources, listening to my students, asking questions, and teaching according to the students understanding. I have gained much exposure to STEM topics throughout my undergraduate and through using this teaching philosophy I hope to bring value and understanding to my students.
