"I have had a lot of experience working with youth for several years now. Ever since attaining my eagle scout award in 2011, I have volunteered my services as an assistant scoutmaster to a local boy scout troop. During this experience i have worked with all kinds of youth with different learning needs such as attention issues and special needs. I've learned to adapt and modify my teaching methods to best accommodate the needs of my students. In the summer of 2014, I worked at a summer camp where i taught seven classes each day with an average of 16 students per class. This past fall I spent several days a week teaching English to non-native adult speakers with little to no knowledge of English. During this time, I also tutored struggling college students in Spanish while finishing out my own degree with two majors. I am extremely patient and understanding and have very flexible hours to best serve my students. I love helping people and hope that you give me the opportunity to do my best to help you too.

I recently graduated college with two majors, one of which was Spanish. I also have traveled to South America several times and volunteered as a missionary interpreter in Cuba during the summer of 2015. During the fall of 2015, I interned at an Adult Learning Center teaching English to Spanish speakers.

Language has always been one of my strongest subjects and eventually evolved into my passion. During my middle school and high school years I competed in spelling bees at the local and state levels and composed poems that were published.
