"I am a mother of three outstanding bilingual young adults born in Mexico City to an Air-force Captain, a former chief-pilot to a Mexican president and a mother who became a Learjet pilot, one of only a handful in Mexico.

From 1981 to 2001 I led an exciting life as a young diplomat at the Mexican Embassy, Consulate, and Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington DC where I worked with Presidents, Members of Congress and CEOs from various corporations in the U.S. and Mexico translating and interpreting English to Spanish and vice-versa.

I have turned my rich experiences over the past 20 years into a passion for tutoring Spanish to students from 3rd grade to college, and from private to charter school. I've tutored students from across the US and students studying abroad in Spain, India and China. I tutor Spanish I,2,3,4, AP Spanish, and advanced conversational Spanish to adults keen on improving their language skills for personal/professional reasons. My style combines patience with an adaptive, personalized approach tailored to students' individual interests and needs and I strive to make sessions productive, informative and fun. Students are empowered by advancing at their own pace without the risk of falling behind in class. A typical session may include casual conversation, homework assignment and class review, all conducted in an immersive cultural background designed to enhance the learning experience. I have also had the honor of assisting students with special needs such as Dyslexia and Autism.

I offer a flexible schedule including weekly and weekend make-up sessions to accommodate those with sports activities and family commitments. If additional weekly sessions are required, I offer special discounts.
