"I have been a nurse for ten years. I chose nursing as a profession because I love to help people. I always go above and beyond to lend a helping hand to patients and their families. I then went back to school to get my masters in nursing education because of my love for knowledge/education. My friends always tell me that I love school and I do. I love to teach and as a nurse I love to help student nurses learn new things and feel good about what they can do. I help nursing students to reach their full potential.

I took my knowledge and my love for education further by getting a job as a nursing instructor. Now I teach nursing students, I teach Nursing Concepts 1 and take students in Nursing Concept 2 to clinical. I also take students in Medical surgical 1 to clinical. The students always appreciate how and what I teach them. Students feel comfortable around me because I help them learn in a friendly environment. I help my students to learn by making sure that they know and understand the reason why they are doing what they are doing.

I took NCLEX to be able to practice nursing. I took NCLEX review course and I studied by myself also. I took and pass NCLEX the first attempt. I know exactly what students need and how I can coach them to pass NCLEX. I can coach them on how to answer NCLEX questions.

I took online classes and I also teach online. I am very proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint. As a Doctoral prepared instructor, PowerPoint is also used for teaching students so it is something I know very well.
