"I am so passionate about teaching to an extent that it is much more to me than a career. "I am so passionate about teaching to an extent that it is much more to me than a career. When I was 12 years old, I started helping my father in tutoring students that are one or two years younger than me. Throughout all my classes in school, I used to teach my classmates inside and outside the classroom. I never ranked number 1 in class, but according to my teachers, I was number 1 in teaching my friends (especially those who had special needs and that faced difficulties when learning new concepts). I graduated from school in 2010 with distinction. Then, I started studying industrial engineering in university. In parallel to that, I was giving Math and Physics private lessons.
In Fall 2012, I was given the opportunity to work as a Physics teacher for Grade 11 and a precalculus teacher for Grade 10. Year after year, the courses assigned to me have increased. In 2015, I graduated with honors from university with B.E in industrial engineering. I have become a full-time teacher and then I got promoted to Math and Physics coordinator for the middle and then secondary cycles.
During COVID, I have done research concerning the international baccalaureate (IB). I have obtained three certificates of attendance from three different international workshops: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Mathematics: analysis and approaches, and leading the learning. My focus now is to find a way for every student to understand and overcome challenges and difficulties encountered during his learning process.
I am the DP coordinator of an IB World School , and I am also a DP math teacher as well as a TOK teacher.
I am very knowledgeable about Math and Physics and I am able to explain most of the concepts in several methods. My 10+ years experience allows me to spot the weakness of a student and fill in any gaps in knowledge from previous years needed to understand current coursework .
Feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions or if you are ready to schedule a lesson!" less...
