"I have an EdD from University Missouri St. Louis and an MEd from Central Oklahoma State University. My educational background has been focused on special education in both a public school and university setting. I have recently retired, but miss the opportunity to work with students on an individual basis. My skills and talents in working with children to help them acquire the tools needed for their ongoing success in school-based programs is a strength.

I have provided direct instruction, developed individualized curriculum, and assessed progress with students identified with disabilities, as well as those who were determined to be 'at-risk.' I am familiar with student evaluation tools, as well as with school district procedures regarding student support strategies.
