"Hello! My name is Jocelyne. I'm a passionate, patient and friendly art instructor.

I've had 20+ years of drawing and painting experience. I graduated from a top art university in NYC; The School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Fine Arts. I love teaching all ages (children & adults).

I have experience working one-on-one and in groups with adults, teens and children as young as 2 years old. I've taught art through different art programs and community services, and with people with developmental disabilities. I have experience in teaching figure drawing, traditional drawing, photo-realism and painting, as well as portraiture. I believe lots of practice, patience, discipline and embracing ones mistakes in art is absolutely key.

I'm available to teach one-on-one in my own art studio, your home, library or coffee shop. I'm also available to teach online. I don't have one specific way of teaching as I like to cater my lessons depending on the student's age, needs and abilities as everyone learns differently and has a different goal.

I'm dedicated in helping my students improve their skills, guide them through their creative ideas and help them achieve their goals, all while maintaining a relaxed, patient and fun atmosphere.
