"I am a first year medical student at Drexel University, College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I graduated from the University of California, San Diego in December 2020 with a bachelors of science in Human Biology and a minor in music. I have worked in both academic and industry research labs with a focus on molecular biology and neuroscience. My career interests include emergency medicine, interventional neurology, or cardiology.

I have been tutoring elementary, middle school, and high school students in various subjects including biology, chemistry, English, essay writing, and application reviewal/interviews since 2018. In order to be successful, I believe that a fundamental understanding of the material is key, and the most active way to utilize and check your knowledge is with practice questions. My job is to explain difficult conceptual topics in a digestible way and I enjoy walking my students through the steps that I take in reading questions, going over the answers one-by-one, and eliminating based on active recall. In this manner, my students pick up on the strategies and habits that work for them to succeed on examinations.

In order for you to be successful, communicate with me on your your (or your kids') difficulties and submit any accompanying documents (such as homework) ahead of time so I can review them and prepare a lesson plan that lets us hit the ground running during our hourly session.

In a similar capacity, I have also been a music teacher since 2016. I graduated from the Associated Boards of Royal School of Music (ABRSM) with distinction ratings and have taught over 20 students ages 6-18.
