"I am an experienced tutor who has helped students from 49 U.S. states (if you live in SD please let me know), and more than a dozen countries around the world. I have worked in the Information Technology field for over 30 years, including at IBM, SAS, and Duke University. I am a married father of 4 children (who are currently a student at Duke, two young professionals, and a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy). Over several decades I have tutored and mentored hundreds of students ranging in age from 7 to 82, elementary school students to PhDs and professionals.
I graduated summa cum laude from Duke University, but more importantly I have helped many students improve their course grades by multiple letters (for example from F to B, from C to A, etc.). Many of my AP Computer Science students have earned a 5 (top score) on the AP exam.
