"I have 25 years experience teaching Music and Writing in public school, community college, and university settings. I also am a church musician, voice and speech coach, and debate coach. I have retired from full-time teaching and now enjoy the freedom to work with individuals and help them meet their goals.

I am certified to teach English and have five years experience teaching writing and research to undergraduate students at UCSB. My dissertation has been published as a book---that process was an experience!! As a debate and speech coach, with theatre experience, I am happy to work with those who want to improve their skills in written or spoken English.

I have been a Choral Conductor and voice teacher for over 25 years. I have three degrees in Music: a B.M.E. in Choral Music Education, with a Vocal Performance minor, a M.M. in Choral Conducting, and a Ph.D. in Historical Musicology.
