"I hold a Masters of Arts in Special Education, a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Masters of Educational Leadership. I have taught students from kindergarten to adults. I have a Reading Endorsement and extensive training in Orton-Gillingham and Lindamood-Bell reading programs. I had the amazing opportunity to train with Nanci Bell and Phyllis Lindamood in the Lindamood-Bell reading programs in San Luis Obispo, CA.

I have been recognized as Teacher of the Year by the Council for Exceptional Children and as a Rodel Exemplary Teacher Finalist. It is my passion to teach reading and seeing students experience the joy of reading.
