"I have always had a love of teaching and helping others to enjoy learning. I have worked with children of all ages in a variety of settings. I love to see them grow in their understanding of the world and enjoy being able to help them enjoy it more. I am a mom so I understand the need to see your child thrive in their education. I have worked with children that also have special needs. I worked for 5+ years in the preschool setting and also worked in the special education department in the local elementary school where I lived.
I love learning and am eager to help others discover new ways to love learning as well. I thrive on coming up with new creative ways to get a topic across. If it is a goofy song or a silly story to get it across then so be it. We need to make learning enjoyable!
After high school I went to a community college to help me acquire more training in this area. I took classes that specifically dealt with the needs of a student and am currently teaching my children in multiple subjects through an independent study course.
In the years that I taught in the preschool level and worked in the special education department I worked with multiple students that had been diagnosed with Autism or Aspergers. I then received special training to be able to teach them to help them get a better education.
I look forward to helping you reach your full potential in your education. I am eager to offer support and get you to the level you would like your child to be at. Please email me today so we can get a schedule set up!" less...
