I am an economist with the U.S. Census Bureau, and I'm an A.B.D. PhD in economics at The University of Iowa. I have a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics, a master's degree in economics, and I've completed graduate work and research in mathematics, statistics, and econometrics.

I have taught mathematics, statistics, and economics courses at the university level, and I've worked as a staff tutor for university and community college tutoring labs. Before graduate school, I also worked in Japan as a high school English teacher and community organizer -- volunteering as a instructor for "high-level" adult English conversation meetings at the local community center was one of the highlights of my time in Japan.

Continuing as a Wyzant tutor has enabled me to stay connected to an activity I truly enjoy!
