I have 6 plus years of experience in teaching and tutoring. Prior experiences consists of inclusion classes as well as small group in the following content areas; Algebra 1 and 2, U.S. History, Government, Environmental Science, Sociology, Social Skills and 11th grade English. Additionally, employment with Sylvan Learning, with daily one hour one-to-one sessions after school where students could come for homework help, and additional practice activities. In this setting I tutored students in the content areas of Algebra, Geometry, English, and Sat & SOL prep. My goal is to assist with closing the education gap and restore the years of learning loss by providing students the opportunity to reach their potential and achieve their educational as well as social/emotional goals." less...
