"The purpose of one-on-one tutoring between tutors and students is to empower each student to take ownership over their education. As an Educational Specialist, I can help students clarify their goals and codify their actions, making it easier to communicate students’ progress to their families and teachers. A tutor can use the agenda to collaboratively with students to analyze academic growth and mastery, reflect on overall progress toward goals, and create a new action plan to keep moving forward. Students reflect on their academic strengths that clearly connect students’ strengths to a specific moment of concert effort and the connection of future opportunities.

I’m currently completing my Educational Specialist credentials at a National university; I knew that I wanted to teach at a very young age. Because I believe that I’m helping our future medical, business, engineering, and more, I feel good about helping young people learn the necessary skills to succeed.
