"I am a 15-year veteran teacher who enjoys teaching early childhood. I taught in Santa Maria to primarily English Language Learners and at a Title I school. I have taught grades preschool through fourth and enjoy teaching second grade the best in a primarily classroom setting, but I did work in small groups daily as well. The reason I loved second grade is that is when students are putting the knowledge they have learned to use and begin to really know how to read. It was so fulfilling to watch students grow and made me feel like I was making a real difference in their lives.
