"I earned a Ph.D. from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego in Earth Sciences. My undergraduate work led to a Bachelor's Degree in Geological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Additionally, I completed graduate coursework required for Teacher Certification at Middle Tennessee State University.

I have decades of experience as a university professor and researcher of geology, geophysics, and oceanography. I have also served as a college instructor of science and mathematics, a high school teacher in math/physics/physical science, and an administrator of a national science program.

For hundreds of hours, I have tutored students in science and math at all levels of education, from elementary school through graduate school, both for courses and standardized tests such as MCAT, SAT, Praxis, and more.
