"I am currently an experienced Reading/Writing and Language Arts tutor for elementary students and a SAT Verbal/SSAT/ACT tutor. I have taught at-risk high school students in Basic English and Medical Terminology and have also worked as a substitute teacher for elementary and middle school students.

Along with my teaching experience, I have experience in the writing field. I used to work in Public Relations and Marketing, where I would prepare proposals, press releases, presentations, etc.

Writing and helping children are my two passions, and I put all of my energy into the work that I do.

I tutor in Reading, Writing, Phonics, SAT prep, Basic Math, Vocabulary, Study Skills, etc. I graduated from Montclair State University in 2008, and I hold a CE in Elementary Education (K-5) and have passed the English Praxis Test.

I believe students who are struggling in a particular subject will excel if they are kept motivated, interested and knowledgeable with the correct applications and practice. Also, periodic assessments are the key to understanding a student's learning needs. Lastly, developing bonds and learning about my students' future academic goals is key to an optimal learning environment and success for the future.
