"I grade AP Spanish exams each June for the Education Testing Service (ETS). I have years of experience working with students taking AP Spanish, how to break each exam section down and how to score high.

I hold Massachusetts Department of Education certification in Spanish and I have been a foreign language for over 20 years. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston, majoring in Russian with a minor in History, and a Master of Education program, specializing in Curriculum & Instruction. I taught middle school French and Spanish for 10 years and I currently teach high school AP Spanish; for the last 8 years I have been building a quality AP Spanish Language and Culture program. I have also taught high school Russian and I have been an MCAS tutor for both English Language Arts and Math. I also have experience teaching English as a Second Language for adults, and I worked as a teaching assistant in an elementary bilingual program (English and Spanish).

As a public school teacher, I understand the foreign language curriculum and what you need to be successful in class. I also know how to break it down, make it easy to understand and fun to learn.
