"My name is Eileen. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Thomas Edison University and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University New Jersey. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Communication from Liberty University. I have been teaching Communication and Criminal Justice courses since 2009. In addition to teaching for several universities, I was a Police Sergeant in New Jersey law enforcement for 20 years until my retirement in April 2014. After retiring I moved my Minnesota to be closer to family. Although I enjoyed my career as an officer, my reason for getting Master’s degrees was because I love teaching. However, while teaching I discovered that many students, especially those who are new to college, have difficulty writing assignments. I find that much of my day in the classroom is spent re-teaching writing and grammar rules as well as helping students learn how to submit great assignment papers. For this reason I believe my services as a tutor could help many college students succeed. I offer online tutoring through WebEx or Skype as well as in-person tutoring at the student’s convenience.

I love helping students succeed in college. I find it rewarding when one of my students was struggling or failing a course and I helped them pass with a great grade. I would like to extend this service to students who are not currently enrolled in the universities where I teach and for this reason I chose to be a tutor.

I graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with a Master's In Criminal Justice. My GPA upon graduation was 3.8.
