"Hey students, Cameron here! As a recently graduated 4.0 GPA student from the University of Texas at Austin with a major in Biology: Genetics and Genomics, a minor in Business, and a certificate in Pre-Health Professions, I am well-versed in the sciences and what it takes to be successful. For those hoping to be successful on a pre-med track and enter medical school, I'm the right person for you. I had an over 50% interview invite rate to medical schools and will matriculate into medical school this fall. I would be happy to provide tutoring for biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, SAT, ACT, and the MCAT, simply be present for advice as a pre-medical student, or serve as an advisor for medical school applications.
While I know that the challenges of school classes can be extreme, standardized tests are an entirely different beast that I am ready to help you tackle. I received a 1530 (730 EBRW, 800 Math...I hope you can see why I'm a science guy and not a humanities person) on the paper SAT, a score of 5 on 11 AP tests (Music Theory, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Macroeconomics, U.S. History, World History, Calculus BC, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics I) and a score of 4 on one (U.S. Government and Politics), and a 523 on the MCAT. I even created my own SAT math book, "The Secret to Success: SAT Math Practice Book: 500 Questions that Guarantee Results" which is available on Amazon.
My actual academic specialty is organic chemistry, which I am most prepared to tutor. I received an A in both Organic Chemistry I and II and served as a Learning/Teaching Assistant for three consecutive semesters. I played a dominant role in teaching content and was invited to assist the professor in writing the new edition of his textbook which we completed last summer. I was also in charge of writing all quizzes and some test questions during the past two semesters for the course.
I hope you see that I am here for you. Best of luck whether you choose me or another tutor!" less...
