"Hi, my name is Tejal! I am currently an undergraduate student at Columbia University, majoring in Biomedical Engineering on the pre-med track. I have been tutoring children in the underprivileged areas of New York in both STEM and humanities subjects. I have found it incredibly fulfilling to give back to my communities because I understand the significant impact that mentors have had on my life. Indeed, it is because of other's kindness in teaching and guiding me academically that I have been able to achieve great things academically. I have consistently done very well in my STEM classes because I have a deep understanding of mathematics concepts.
