"Hi, I am Professor Esther A, APRN, MSN, RN. I graduated with honors and a bachelor in the science of nursing. I also have a master's degree in family nurse practitioner. I realized the classes I appreciated the most weren't necessarily the topics. Rather, it was the professors who made the classes enjoyable these professors were always engaging and comprehensible when teaching the material in the classroom and willing to go the extra mile when I asked for additional help or clarification I try to bring this knowledge to my teaching approach and do everything I can to make learning a pleasant experience I use lesson plans in which I usually introduce the topic in a fun and creative way, then explicitly teach the material afterward I always ensure time for students to practice the material on their own of course this method can be adjusted based on the subject and students individual needs.

I have several years of tutoring experience with Medical/surgical for nursing students. I work directly with any students who need additional assistance, but I also have a small focus group of five to ten students with each of my six classes. These were the students who needed the most extra help so I worked with them during class to ensure they didn't fall behind additionally I held tutoring sessions every day after class where students could come by for any homework help in this setting not only Med/sur. But also, physical assessment, nursing quality, safety, gerontology, Pediatrics, and Maternity Simulations.
