"Hello, I am Renee and I have been an Educator for over 10 years for both adults and children. I have taught children in a public school setting, and I have taught adults on a college campus as well as virtually/online. I taught all subjects when I was a School Teacher but I will focus on being a Math, Reading /Language Arts and ESL Tutor on this platform. I've had the required certificates, and I currently hold a certificate to teach English as a Second Language. In all my years of teaching I have helped the majority, sometimes 100% of my students pass their standardized tests year after year.

Imparting knowledge is what I love to do and I love seeing the gains that my students make, whether it be my adult students or the children that I teach. I however have distinct styles that I use for both audiences since one has to cater to the specific age group, or the student's learning style. I assess the student on the first day, then tailor my lesson according to what they already know, what they need to learn, and I also take in consideration their age group to correctly choose my materials. I call my style of tutoring "entertraining", as I aim to teach/train students, but at the same time make the lesson entertaining, to facilitate deeper understanding by captivating each student's attention, and keeping them engaged.
