"I am an energetic educator who has been teaching, coaching, and mentoring others most of my life. I went to college to be a high school English and Speech teacher. After graduating, I taught both. I also served as a Speech Coach and judge for numerous high school Speech tournaments. Later, I transitioned to the business world (corporate business development and VP, Sales). Later, I was an executive recruiter for over 20 years and placed senior executives nationwide in two different industries.

My success has been a result of utilizing my communication, writing, public speaking, and listening skills. I have also mentored, coached, and motivated hundreds of students and professionals along the way.

Most recently, I ran my own retained executive search practice. Right before the pandemic, I merged my firm with a larger company and returned to my "teaching roots" to build my own national tutoring practice.

My students are middle, high school, and college level, but I also work with adults who seek to improve their business communication, job search, and public speaking skills. In addition, I help professionals to write resumes and LinkedIn profiles that generate interviews and key professional connections. I also work with students and adults to prepare for upcoming speeches and presentations and I assist students to write essays that accompany their college applications. I also prepare jobseekers for upcoming interviews (face to face and virtual).
